What is stored in your browser

To save you retyping, the tools keep your last notes, your flashcard deck and Leitner boxes, your study plan and ticks, your templates and your blurting scores in your browser’s localStorage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. It stays until you clear it.

What happens when you press an AI button

Buttons such as "Build study guide" or "Make flashcards with AI" send the text you pasted to our server, which passes it to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate the result. The text is used only to produce that response. We do not store it, build profiles, or use it for advertising. Temporary technical logs (such as error messages and your IP address, used for rate limiting) are kept briefly by our hosting provider, Vercel. If you upload a scanned PDF or a photo of notes and press "Read with AI", the file is turned into page images in your browser (up to 10 pages) and those images are sent the same way, to an AI vision model through Vercel AI Gateway, only to read the text back into the notes box; they are not stored. Text-based PDFs, Word and PowerPoint files are read entirely in your browser and never uploaded. Do not paste personal or confidential information you would not want processed this way.

Buttons marked "offline" never send your text anywhere.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not collect personal data or the contents of anything you type.
